"Cheerleading: From Tryouts to Championships" manages to cover the history of cheerleading while guiding participants and newcomers through everything from trying out to mascoting to understanding the different types of cheer squads.  Written by the staff of Inside Cheerleading magazine, it's no wonder they got the facts straight.  But the book also delivers in an easy-to-follow style punctuated with advice and humor.
