"Cheerleading" on Books for the Teen Age 2008 List

Books for the Teen Age 2008, a list published annually by the New York Public Library, honored Cheerleading: From Tryouts to Championships by including it on this year's list. 

Books on the list are recommended by teen readers and then vetted by the New York Public Library's young adult librarians.  The books vary greatly and span many categories, reflecting the diverse interests of teenage readers.  The Books for the Teen Age list is published each year in March by the library's Office of Young Adult Services. 

Cheerleading: From Tryouts to Championships (Universe, September 2007) was written by the editors and writers of Inside Cheerleading magazine.
